• Equation data — the equations, variables, tags, and notes you save while using the app.
• Marketing preference — whether you opted in to receive product updates from us.
• Usage data — basic analytics such as page views, collected by Google AdSense/Analytics if active.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the Equation Toolbox service.
• To send product updates, tips, and news — only if you opted in during registration.
• To improve the app based on usage patterns.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not share your equations or personal information with anyone.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which is hosted on AWS infrastructure. Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

4. Marketing Emails

If you opted in at registration, we may occasionally send you product updates and tips. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also opt out at any time by emailing us at the address below.

5. Cookies

We use minimal cookies required to keep you logged in. If Google AdSense is active on the site, it may use cookies for ad personalisation in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Withdraw marketing consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

8. Children

Equation Toolbox is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email (if opted in) or via a notice in the app.
